Responsibilities
  • As the Anesthesia Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies, as well as providing direct support to anesthesia providers before, during, and after surgeries
  • Maintains adequate levels of supplies, orders supply as needed; communicates supply issues to anesthesia staff
  • Reviews the OR schedule for equipment needs
  • Sets up OR for the anesthesiologist
  • Calibrates monitoring devices
  • Assists the anesthesiologist with preparation of anesthesia equipment for every procedure

Requirement
  • Two (2) years of experience at the level of an Anesthesia Technician in a healthcare setting*
  • Experience at the Level of Anesthesia Technician is defined as: acquiring, preparing, setting up, and maintaining anesthesia equipment used in administering anesthesia for both routine and complex surgical cases
  • Completion of an approved Anesthesia Technology program from an accredited institution.**
