• Under the general direction of the Manager of Support Services, Admin Nurse, Asst. Dir Nursing & Operations OR and the Hospital Lab Tech Supervisor the Patient Specialty Services Tech primary function is to assist the anesthesiologist in preparation of equipment needed to administer anesthesia; setting up invasive lines for patient monitoring, performing cell saving procedures, setting up laser and video equipment and assisting in laser procedures, setting up other O.R. equipment and performing clerical and coordinating duties as assigned by Patient Specialty Services Tech supervisor and RN charge nurse. Working hours primarily days will be expected to rotate shifts, and cover call, weekends, nights and holidays. Function as member of a team. Inherent duties include but are not limited to, proper care of instrumentation and equipment, utilization of all safety measures and the accurate completion of all documentation.
