In the Connected Mobility Business Unit, we are at the forefront of advancing vehicle technology. From innovative solutions such as 5G to hidden antennas, we design and manufacture products that enable flawless data transfer within the next generation of autonomous and connected vehicles. The Vehicle Antenna Solution segment in Grand Blanc, MI has specialized in the development of integrated reception systems (GNSS, SXM, 5G, WiFi, V2X, AM/DAB etc.) for the automotive industry.

We are seeking an Antenna Engineering Manager to lead our Antenna Engineering team and drive and manage innovation.



What You Will Do

  • Manage the Antenna Engineering team. Ensure quality and the time of team deliverables. Keep the team motivated. Enhance team communications. Ensure that Molex philosophy Introduced to the team.


• Design development. Strong Guiding of design process by reviewing the design results and steps with employees and customer. Supporting the team during the development phase by giving them the ideas and hints how to solve the issues. Make sure that cost saving concepts are always considered.

  • Team Performance. Improve the performance of the team by develop the skills of the employees and help them to grow. Ensure the required trainings are planned and carryout for the team.


  • Manage team resources. Make sure that the available resources are planned well to the current projects and ensure that the employees are in the right role, and assigned responsibilities based on comparative advantage.


  • Drive & manage innovation. Make sure that the equipment and measurement systems are on update to the current technology to drive and speed up the innovation process. Ensure that product development processes are improved and optimized. Help the Antenna Engineering team to develop new ideas.


  • Global cooperation. Collaborate with the global engineering and manufacturing team to exchange the new ideas and to solve engineering and production issues.


  • Support RFIs or RFQs phase. Support and work with other teams to win new programs. Ensure that the design concepts are defined and presented to customer in optimal way.


  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.


Who You Are

  • 5 years or more of professional experience in antenna design

What Puts You Ahead

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF Antenna
  • Experience designing and developing antennas for the automotive applications such as Cellular, GNSS, SXM, and WiFi, V2X, BT, AM-FM/DAB
