This role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross functional teams, and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with company goals and industry standards.

Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee and enhance our manufacturing operations, focusing on optimizing processes, project management, improving product quality, and implementing best practices. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross functional teams, and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with company goals and industry standards.
Essential Functions:
- Leader that is comfortable working on the floor with production supervisors, ME's, maintenance and operators to keep production flowing and employees safe.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles to drive ongoing enhancements in manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for development and budget execution of capital projects related to processes and equipment upgrades.
- Strong project management experience utilizing Microsoft project as a tool to meet timelines and manage resources.
- Develop tooling for manufacturing: custom machine fixtures, assembly jigs, and standard tooling requirements.
- Leads development of process planning and NC programming for all new and current programs.
- Owns capital equipment plan, write-ups for approval and capital project execution.
- Develops standards for production.
- Develops manufacturing plans for new equipment.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:

- Experience in machining/assembly of engine and/or transmission components.
- Experience in government contracts.
