Back End Application Engineer

Contract: 3 months+ Pay rate: 75 /hr

Job Description:

As a Back End Application Engineer, you'llanalyze, develop, and design solutions

for our application software. In our Agile environment,you'lldo this by performing technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications.Ultimately, throughcontinuous integration,developmentand testing,you'llensure we deliver quality code.Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Tends toAssociateApplicationEngineersby providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work ofSenior AssociateApplicationEngineers, and helps them continue to grow Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills Has an oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

• Bachelors - Computer Science or related
• 3+ Years - Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Cloud Technologies, preferably AWS Programming language experience in Java and/or Python, and various frameworks Strong working knowledge of data structures and algorithms Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkin, Git/GitHub Passionate about high quality standards and test automation practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Superb collaboration and communication

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform Experience with contract testing using Pact and/or setting up Pact Broker Experience with Golang Full stack web applications development experience using React, Node.js Risk management knowledge
