ASIC Engineer, Architecture Responsibilities

• Work on advanced ASIC architecture, algorithms and models targeting Machine Learning ASICs.


• Analyze and map data center workloads to ASIC architecture, develop performance and functional models to validate the architecture.


• Implement various reference silicon architecture models needed for the validation of the accelerators.


• Work on performance correlation of architecture models with RTL design models.


• Create performance test plan and test vectors for performance correlation with micro-architectural and RTL design implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.


• Requires three years of experience in the following:


• 1. Building custom silicon


• 2. Silicon architecture, silicon modeling, performance architecture, or kernel development


• 3. Programming in C, C++, or related Object Oriented Programming


• 4. VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog


• 5. Simulation tools


• 6. Performance modeling and correlation.

$208,936/year to $234,520/year + bonus + equity + benefits
