Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Boys Basketball Coach to join our team at Oakville Middle/High School. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement effective training programs and strategies for the boys basketball team. This is a seasonal position that requires a commitment to the entire basketball season.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and organizing practices and games
- Help develop and implement effective training programs and strategies for the team
- Provide guidance and support to players on and off the court
- Attend all practices, games, and team meetings
- Assist with scouting and game preparation
- Help maintain equipment and facilities
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Requirements:
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of basketball rules and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability to attend all practices, games, and team meetings
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test & clear driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
