Assistant District Attorney - Milwaukee County

Position Summary

This Assistant District Attorney position is a part-time .50 FTE position to be filled in the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. The position is currently assigned to Children's Court working on Children in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS) cases, but there is some potential flexibility in the assignment. This is a State position in the unclassified service.

The Children's Court is located at the Vel R. Phillips Youth and Family Justice Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, approximately 7 miles west of the Milwaukee County Courthouse Complex. The area is well known for shopping and in close proximity to Lake Michigan, professional sporting events, major concert venues, five-star restaurants, world-class theater and all of the amenities of a large metropolitan area.

Salary Information

The starting salary for the Assistant District Attorney (schedule/range 20-75) position will be $36.72 per hour.

Qualifications

Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
