Summary:
Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Operations with a focus in theRooms Division. This can include the front office staff, guest services, housekeeping/laundry, and reservations. Duties may also include training, staff development, payroll coordinationand scheduling. In addition to assisting in the operation, this position will respond quickly to guest requests and/or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction

Assistant Front Office Operation Managers must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years or more of progressive hotel Operations/Rooms experience (typically with Hyatt) and with Opera
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Must be flexible and dependable with open availability
