Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.

For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Military Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in the daily operations of the military Unit/program. The Assistant MPM will serve as the liaison for referral sources, bases, and other military entities. Managing ongoing relationship with various stakeholders in order to support the implementation and growth of the military programs. They will interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities; ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards.

They will exhibit leadership, supervisory and program management experience. In particular, the Assistant MPM will demonstrate the ability to monitor program outcomes, to established performance levels, to work independently and as part of the team.

Qualifications

  • At a minimum, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or 4 years of experience in a Behavioral Health setting.
  • a minimum of one-three (1-3) years experience working with military population and behavioral health population.
  • Veteran Status Preffered
  • Certification/ License: RN or therapy licensure (i.e. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW) preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulations and requirements of The Joint Commission, Title 22, and Medicare.
  • Must have the ability to develop criteria based reports and policies; possess excellent written and verbal skills; be assertive yet professional with interpersonal skills for internal and external relations;
  • Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to relate to physicians, senior management, and other professional staff.
  • Able to organize projects and work assignments and apply good management techniques while supervising staff.
