The Role

SoFi is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager, IT to join our team. In this position you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the successful implementation of a new system across multiple departments within the organization. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong background in IT program management and a proven track record of successful system implementations. You possess exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, allowing you to effectively navigate complex projects and guide cross-functional teams towards a common goal.

You are proactive in identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring smooth execution of the project plan. The ideal candidate is also adept at building relationships and fostering collaboration across different departments, fostering a sense of shared ownership and accountability throughout the implementation process.

What you'll do:
  • Program management for IT
  • Manage design, build, operate life-cycle for critical projects from requirements to deployment
  • Drive the strategic planning process while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are met
  • Communicate ongoing project status with key stakeholders and business leadership
  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

What you'll need:
  • BS Degree in computer science
  • 6+ years of technical program management experience
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and evaluate product performance
  • Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, tech designs, and operational support
  • Work and play well with others; SoFi is a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice to have:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial system integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with senior leaders across the enterprise.
  • PMP, CAPM or SCM certification
  • Experience with GSuite, Jira, Airtable, and Smartsheet


Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.

Pay range: $134,400.00 - $231,000.00

Payment frequency: Annual
