Full Time 40 hours Grade 000 Department of Neurosurgery
Responsibilities
The Department of Neurosurgery (Division of Pain Management) is seeking candidates for a faculty position that will provide direct patient care and oversight of patient care diagnosis and treatment plans for patients referred into the Pain Management Department. Develop outpatient functional assessments of pain issues including acute and chronic pain, headaches, post traumatic neuralgia, musculoskeletal problems such as back and neck pain, radiculopathies, tendonitis, osteoarthritis, spasticity and fibromyalgia. Perform injection techniques such as trigger point injections, large and small joint injections, interpretation of including electromyograpy, nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials to diagnose carpal tunnel and radiculopathies or other pain related issues. Successful candidates will have experience in the gamut of interventional fluoroscopy-based procedures as well as medical management of chronic pain. The role calls for collaboration in a multi-disciplinary setting with physical therapy, pain psychology, addiction medicine, and other nonpharmacological approaches.
Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent, Fellowship in Pain Management, and be eligible for a New York State medical license. Candidates must be board eligible.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $350,000 - $470,000 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
