Responsibilities: Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Education in the Department of Teacher Education. Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses in a learner-centered environment, undergraduate/graduate research, supervising undergraduate and graduate teacher candidates, mentoring graduate students, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community.

Qualifications: Applicants with an earned doctorate in education or a related field are preferred. ABDs who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. The ideal candidate will have the versatility to teach a diverse range of courses, including those with a focus in secondary education and educational leadership/administration. Priority will be given to candidates with proven expertise and experience in the PreK-12 education field, particularly in secondary education or in teaching English learners.
