An Assistant Professor on the tenure track is sought within the Division of Epidemiology and Clinical Research in the Department of Pediatrics.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Childhood Cancer Genomics Group led by members of the Division to make use of the group’s extensive and growing collection of germline and somatic genetic data for childhood cancer. This position will participate in research and educational activities and assist with training postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Epidemiology with documented experience in conducting classical and genetic epidemiologic studies; additionally, candidates must have knowledge of and a track record of publication in childhood cancer research. Specifically the candidate should have a demonstrable track record in the epidemiology of childhood central nervous system tumors and the epidemiology of sex differences in childhood cancer risk and outcome.
