Assistant Project Manager (Owners Representative)

Acting as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the project.
Developing and implementing project-specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets and detailed
assumptions for review and confirmation by clients.
Developing and tracking project specific risks and evaluating their impact on deliverables and performance
standards.
Maintaining and delivering all appropriate project updates and project performance reporting against set
project measurables.
Developing and maintaining a detailed project budget from concept through construction.
Developing, maintaining, and enforcing the Master Project Schedule
Perform design and constructability reviews throughout the design implementation process. As part of each
review, ensure each design aligns with established project goals and is within the established project
budget.
Prepare scope of services for 3rd party consultants and contractors to be client hired. Review proposal
responses and provide observations based on price and technical qualifications.
Coordinate project close out and space turnover to owner following completed construction activities.
Actively manage and monitor internal project budget and participate in collected outstanding receivables.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of construction management experience
Can be as a APM or as a Project Engineer looking to make to make the jump
Can be Owners Rep or GC experience as long as they have full project lifecycle experience
Ability to pass a DC Police criminal background check
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Some experience working within DC
Owner's Rep background
Great communication skills
