Position description

ASSISTANT PROJECT SCIENTIST position available in Department of Neurobiology at UCLA. Ph.D. in neurosciences and five years of postdoctoral experience required in fields of biochemistry, neuroscience, and/or bioengineering. Candidate will be performing cutting-edge neuroscience research aimed at understanding how neocortical neural circuits learn to perform simple computations. This research will provide a foundation to further elucidate the neural mechanisms underlying neurocomputations under normal and pathological conditions. Demonstrated ability to work as part of teams and publish in high-impact journals.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications
Ph.D. in neurosciences and five years of postdoctoral experience required in fields of biochemistry, neuroscience, and/or bioengineering.
