Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities


The Assistant Research Administrator at the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research will provide critical support to the Center's pre-award research administration and compliance activities. This entry-level role is primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of NIH biosketches, NIH Other Support statements, and supporting the grant proposal process by ensuring that all required documentation is collected and submitted in compliance with sponsor guidelines. Additionally, the Assistant Research Administrator will assist with responding to Just-In-Time (JIT) requests for pending awards and perform publication access compliance monitoring for projects citing the Center's Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). The role will also involve data collection and management for the annual Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR), maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation. Administrative duties will include providing assistance to the Center's senior leadership team, handling routine office tasks, managing calendars, and facilitating communication within the university research community. This position will report to the Administrative Director and work in a hybrid setting, allowing for both on-site and telework flexibility.
