Associate Director, Software Engineer

We're looking for an Associate Director, Software Engineer to:

• Design, Develop and execute EDM scripts using SmartCo tool based on business requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including test plan preparation, test cases design, test execution, UAT support and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with business users and data office to understand business requirements related to reference data and create business requirements artifacts.
• Analyze reference data files from vendors and end-to-end data flow between upstream and downstream systems (SCD, Front Office, BCOMP, Gim2, AMWH, JPM, TechM, Bloomberg).
• Perform test cases execution in QA and UAT environments.
• Work with business users on UAT test planning and execution.
• Work to understand reference data as it applies to asset management issuers, securities, ratings, counterparties, legal entity, static security data creation, pricing, derivatives, underlying securities, FX, CFD security creation, OTC security creation, OTC security pricing and custom attributes calculations. Create artifacts in Atlassian Jira Agile tool.
• Liaise with offshore and onsite teams to ensure the functionality and quality of the testing are met as per the customer requirement.
• Interact with the various up and down stream applications, functional leads, and gather the requirements for application customization, test case preparation and execution.
• Create status reports as applicable to development and testing activity. Involved in functional requirements and functional design artifacts creation.

Your expertise

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Product Consultant, Associate Consultant, or a related occupation.

• Position requires experience with the following:
• Test cases preparation using ALM and execution in QA and integration environments
• End to end testing including test plan preparation, test cases design, test execution , UAT support and defect tracking
• Asset management reference data
• Working with business analysts and business users for requirements gathering
• Designing and developing asset management functionalities for securities and pricing
