Associate Director, Software Engineer

We're looking for an Associate Director, Software Engineer to:

• Develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity.
• Evaluate, plan, and integrate technical infrastructure solutions in Azure Cloud.
• Contribute to incident and problem management process by recommending ongoing technical and process improvements.
• Analyze errors in systems and define corrective measures.
• Create secure infrastructure environment, and improve production stability and performance.
• Liaise with delivery teams to configure performance and monitoring tools to obtain insight into the delivery of components.
• Utilize scripting skills and other tools to automate and improve reliability and speed of delivery processes.
• Utilize Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform, Azure, Nexus, and Kubernetes to enable development teams to deliver software in an efficient and sustainable way.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Tech Specialist, Associate Tech Specialist, or a related occupation.

• Position requires experience with the following:
• Cloud technologies and cloud-native solutions
• OS Stack: including Linux and/or Windows
• Bash or Powershell Scripting
• CI/CD tooling
• Gitlab CICD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Configuring and designing CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and ARM/Bicep templates
• Kubernetes
• Agile development practices including Scrum, XP, Kanban.
