The Human Resource Graduate Program is a two-year commitment designed to grow recent college graduates into strategic Human Resources professionals. The program allows you to work on high-impact projects across all Human Resources functions including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Operations, and business partnering for solutions that help guide our business needs. As an Associate, Graduate Program (Human Resources) you'll gain invaluable experience and insight into how HR influences decisions, helps set strategy and makes an impact across the business . What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Partner with the site Human Resources and Operations teams to provide direction and guidance regarding policies, procedures and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in two rotational assignments, lasting approximately 12 months each,
  • Keep management and Operations apprised of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness
  • Assist human resource team and exiting employees with offboarding activities, to include scheduling and conducting exit interviews, managing equipment return and sending out state required separation documents.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring documents and manuals are current, accurate, confidential and in compliance with company policies and government regulations
  • Assist with performance management as needed, including delivering disciplinary actions for hourly employees and processing voluntary and involuntary separations in partnership with HR Managers and Legal
  • Implement and utilize HR metrics to measure performance
  • Observe and recommend simpler more efficient ways to streamline human resources related processes that impact business partners and internal human resources team.
  • Engage with various levels of operations leadership and HR stakeholders to strategically assist in continuous improvement by identifying problems and creating Lean solutions.
  • Participate in projects with key partners by creating and developing project plans, determine requirements, deliverables, resources, timing/milestones and risks.
  • Research, analyze, and exchange information, ideas, and opinions to aid in decision making.
  • Prepare and distribute comprehensive reports and status updates to business leaders.
  • Work together with others to gather resources, create value, solve problems and achieve goals and objectives.


What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field obtained within 18 months of June 2025 program start date.
  • In academic good standing with a grade point average of at least 3.0.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • High degree of integrity to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to travel or relocate to any location within the United States in which GXO operates for the program rotation, promotion opportunity, and end of program placement.


It'd be great if you also have:
  • Leadership and/or people management experience in collegiate programs and activities, or in previous/current employment.
  • Exposure and/or experience in data mining and analysis.
  • Experience working with various HR software (SuccessFactors, Kronos, Service Now, EthicsPoint Case Management)


This job requires the ability to:
  • Lift objects up to 10lbs.
  • Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse climates.
