The California Department of Rehabilitation Is Recruiting for An Associate Management Auditor. Will also consider Staff Services Management Auditor applicants.

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) administers the largest vocational rehabilitation program in the country. We have a three-pronged mission to provide services and advocacy that assist people with disabilities to live independently, become employed and have equality in the communities in which they live and work.

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Audit Services Unit is currently accepting applications for Associate Management Auditor (AMA) and will consider Staff Services Management Auditor (SSMA) for recruitment purposes. We offer a hybrid work schedule consisting of two days onsite and 3 days remote and we also offer 9/8/80 work schedule.

Under the general supervision of the Staff Management Auditor, the AMA will perform audits and investigations in accordance with applicable auditing standards: International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Government Auditing Standards. The AMA will conduct internal/external audits, internal/external investigations, provide consulting services to intradepartmental programs and other related assignments in an objective and independent manner with the highest level of professional quality. A candidate hired at the AMA level, the journey person level in the audit series, will act as lead or participate as part of a team in the performance the more complex audit assignments. A candidate hired at the SSMA level, the entry level in the audit series, will assist the AMA and/or conduct audit assignments as part of a team.
