We are recruiting for multiple Staff Services Management Auditors with knowledge of the Generally Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards, an ability to think of sound solutions to effectively solve problems, and who want to be part of a highly motivated team.

With close supervision provided by the Senior Management Auditor, of the Office of the Inspector General's Audit Team, the Staff Services Management Auditor will conduct audits or reviews of policies, practices, and procedures governing the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's operations. The audits or reviews include conditions of incarcerated persons confinement, safety and security issues, financial management, and incarcerated persons programs. The incumbent will travel to prisons, correctional offices, and Office of the Inspector General regional offices.

To safeguard the integrity of the State's correctional system by providing oversight and transparency through monitoring, reporting, and recommending improvements to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
