ASST PROFESSOR

Job Summary

The University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine is seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. The successful candidate will be either a PhD scientist or a physician investigator with a demonstrated interest in aging research.

Required Qualifications*

The candidate must qualify for and hold a faculty appointment with the University of Michigan, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. The candidate will contribute to achieving the research and teaching missions of the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. Clinical faculty is expected to also contribute to the clinical mission by providing outstanding clinical care in the outpatient and/or inpatient settings. The candidate will ideally have a track record - including peer-reviewed external grants and peer-reviewed papers - in aging research, as well as an aptitude for mentoring others in academic medicine.
