Summary:

  • Manages the AV/Video services and coordinate and support the RFID/Bluetooth digital technology for Pennsylvania Hospital. Ensures timely outcome on multimedia/digital signage/television and RFID based projects and issue resolutions. Serves as a patient advocate for TV-related concerns. Responsible for day-to-day operations for AV/Video services and RFID/Bluetooth tags and badging devices, in addition to general management of content, and assistance of audio-visual systems, troubleshoots security systems, and badge systems when needed. Administer service agreements and contracts as applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports multimedia audio video conferencing technology and services including digital signage and RFID/Bluetooth tracking and monitoring tools.
  • Analyze, plan, develop, implement, and maintain above information systems and its processes and structures to support entity operations in conjunction with the Corporate Information Services groups and other support groups.
  • Acts as first line of support for various equipment issues connected with use of audio video conferencing equipment (including end user devices) and RFID tags and badges functionality.
  • Develop technical relationships with technology vendor, internal engineers/experts and network operation center to increase proficiencies in emergency troubleshooting situations. Ensure all video conferencing related maintenance activities and maintenance contracts are kept up to date and appropriate to business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with various units and departments to develop work plan and achieve identified goals regarding audio/video services projects.
  • Coordinates with and manages on-site contracted vendors as related to Video and digital services.
  • Continually assesses operating procedures and takes action to ensure ongoing quality improvement for video services/RFID systems within the entity.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with hospital units and departments in order to maximize the quality of television programming and service to hospital patients.
  • Supports production of videos for various departments, including Marketing, for website and social media content development.
  • Develop and analyze reports for purposes of managing rfid tags and badges, eg: follow up on tags and badges discrepancies, report distributions to user community, creating standard naming conventions, etc
  • Replaces RFID tag and badge batteries and perform calibration of these and related devices.
  • Trains applicable staff on video conferencing tools such as Blue Jeans, MSTeams, Events Touch Panel, etc and RFID management tools such as Mobileview. Tools listed are a sampling and is not an inclusive list.
  • Will be required to be on-call. Flex hours to support video conferencing for needs such as townhalls, larger conferences and continuing education presentations.
Credentials:

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
    • Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience: •And 2+ years Maintenance and working knowledge of low-voltage systems, including signal, alarm and video systems.

    • Education Specialization: Associate's Degree or tech experience. Field-based or service technician Equivalent Experience: •Experience with information systems / technology, technical or video systems.
