Automation Engineer

Description

Experience:

5 years or more




Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major

Required experience:

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

Able to manipulate data using Excel

Basic knowledge of networks and remote connectivity

Ability to follow detailed test protocols using good documentation practices (GDP)

Ability to work independently

Preferred experience:

Rockwell PLC/DCS systems, Logix 5000, FT View, PlantPAx

GAMP 5 (V-Model) documentation

Verification test planning and execution

Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills

Tasks and Deliverables:

Generate project documentation for requirements and testing

Perform engineering tests and test protocol shakedown

Perform formal verification testing

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to test failures and generate potential solutions

Education: Bachelors Degree
