Job description

Infosys is seeking an Automation SDET Selenium and Java Technical Test Lead,

As a QA Test Analyst, you will act as a validation and quality assurance professional across the different stages of the Testing lifecycle: you will develop, design and deploy test scripts and cases of complex modules, help set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design for different types of testing. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in designing and implementing various automation frameworks across multiple client organizations.
• Design and implement test automation solutions/ strategies to achieve optimization, reduce cycle time and to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Experience in In Sprint and End to End automation and Agile Methodology
• Design and build DevOps pipeline for new programs.
• Experienced in Mobile Testing, Microservices / API and Browser Compatibility Testing and automation of Microservices / API and Browser Compatibility Testing

Technology skillset listed below -
• Java
• Selenium
• BDD Cucumber / TestNG
• LeanFT, HP UFT (Optional)
• Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, GIT
• HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Zephyr
• Strong coding skills in Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven and good to have experience in one more tool like UFT, etc.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong framework knowledge and experience in writing re-usable methods/library
• Strong in providing technical solution and solving automation issues and challenges
• Good to have one API automation tool exposure (optional)
• Good to have mobile automation experience (optional)
• Effective team handling and good communication skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
