Piper Companies is currently searching for an AV and IT Support Technician to work Onsite in Washington, D.C for a national commercial and federal systems integrator. The AV and IT Support Technician will provide on-site support, ensuring the smooth operation of all AV and computing equipment, assisting staff with technical issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the AV and IT Support Technician include :
• Configure AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events
• Resolve AV equipment issues promptly, including projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems
• Conduct routine maintenance on AV systems and IT Support
• Aid users with IT-related problems courteously and promptly
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware components as required
Qualifications for the AV and IT Support Technician include :
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) preferred
• Fundamental understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
• Preferred familiarity with audio-visual technology and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues
• Effective communication skills with non-technical users
Compensation for the AV and IT Support Technician include :
• Hourly Range: $30/hr - $35/hr (depending on experience)
