We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a solid background in network design, implementation, and management. As an AWS Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, supporting our AWS cloud network infrastructure to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.

In this role, you will:
  • P rovide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS network issues to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Support and help development team deploy scalable and secure AWS cloud network architectures.
  • Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups.
  • Implement and manage AWS networking services such as ELB, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
  • Implement robust security measures including network ACLs, security groups, and AWS WAF and CloudFront.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Lambda, Python for repeated tasks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system and application performance, including automating manual system tasks.
  • Participate in change management and related meetings to identify systems issues. Present project initiatives and metrics. Create ad hoc reports of significant system trends, including problem occurrences and responses.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


What it Takes:
  • Experience in architecting a reusable platform to automate manual operational tasks by using Lambda, Step Function, & python/PowerShell scripts.
  • Deployment of applications and services into AWS using a variety of automation tools such as Cloud formation, Puppet and Cloud provider API's using CI/CD in Bitbucket/Bamboo or GitHub.
  • Development & troubleshooting skills to Build and Deploy Application in Cloud.
  • Understanding of monitoring solutions (Grafana, Splunk, Tableau, Service Now).
  • Experience of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be a team player.
  • Ability to work independently on short-term tasks.
  • Self-motivated with an attention to detail.
  • Minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
