Title: AWS DevOps EngineerDuration: 12+ Months

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid Remote)

Engagement Description -

Seeking an experienced Technology Consultant for our Enterprise Informatics Environment. The qualified candidate will work independently within guidelines, be responsible for coordinating and working with 3rd party vendor to manage AWS platform, software upgrades, application deployments, patch installations, security request and incident management. Candidate will work directly in our AWS environment providing support and guidance to all technical teams.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience -

• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, analytical organizational, verbal and written communication skills and attention to details a must. Must be able to exhibit in relation to data integration and management.
• Coordination of infrastructure and platform changes with 3rd party vendor and managing tickets and change requests via Cherwell.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in a delivery or consulting role leading Information Management related initiatives is required.

Required Skills/Experience -

• Experience in Web Administration.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Docker
• Knowledge of Apache and Apache Tomcat
• Knowledge of AWS RDS (Postgres and Redshift)
• Responsible for submitting and coordinating changes with vendor (AIP)
• Understanding of Information Security for data protection, governance, and security preferred
• Knowledge and experience in AWS cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS
• Knowledge of DevOps, Jenkins and Cloudbees
• Experience in building and managing pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Skills/Experience -

Work with Architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs for Hardware, Software to expand the capabilities of the platform/environment.

• Lead, create, and collaborate with cross functional teams for AWS RDS projects.
• Lead the implementation and administration of Apache/Tomcat web applications.
• Lead DevOps initiative to develop and maintain pipelines in Informatics Environment
• Manage, monitor vendor processes to align with company processes and adhere to corporate standards and policies.

Education/Certifications -

• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
