Azure Developer - React

We are currently looking for an experienced Azure Developer - React candidate for a role on one of our Federal projects in Washington, DC. Federal Client Requires US Citizenship

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements to the platform.
• Create and maintain terraform to manage test and production environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives for the team.
• Developing and maintaining user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Develop and integrate responsive design-based web applications using full stack Ruby on Rails.
• Work with engineers to support product development from inception to release.
• Respond to, diagnose, and assist in solving production incidents.
• Participate in root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems.

Requirements:

• Federal Client Requires US Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• At least five years' experience developing and maintaining large scale applications 5+ years on AWS or Azure platform
• 3+ years' experience working in Microsoft Azure
• Thorough understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD practices, and Platform as a service (PaaS)
• Knowledge in implementing and managing DevOps tools such as Github ES, Azure DevOps, Swagger, Selenium, and JMeter- Scripting skills
• Experience in React.js and its core principles such as React patterns, state management libraries (such as Flux or Redux), Props drilling, data sharing among React components
• Hands-on development experience with projects involving the full stack Ruby on Rails with other Open-Source technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, DataTables, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with Azure SQL or other relational databases
• Knowledge in Azure cloud monitoring tools, application performance monitoring tools, and operational dash-boarding
• Experience with Azure solutions such as App Services, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, and monitoring tools, etc.
• Ensure SLA's & operational KPI's are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.

Desired Skills:

• A full stack development experience
• Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
