Azure Platform Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure Platform Engineer for a growing organization located in Salisbury, North Carolina. The Azure Platform Engineer role is a hybrid position and will require 3 days onsite in the office. A successful candidate for the Azure Platform Engineer will be very experienced with all of Azure Core Services.

Responsibilities for the Azure Platform Engineer include:
• Design, build, and manage Azure Core Services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate the deployment and management of resources
• Design, manage and operate the continuous delivery framework and tools
• Research and suggest new tools and technologies to implement in the enviornment
• Collaborate cross functionally to deliver on projects and solutions

Requirements for the Azure Platform Engineer include:
• Ability to work onsite in Salisbury, North Carolina 3 days a week
• 5+ years of experience building, automating, and maintaining Azure environments
• Strong experience with Terraform or relatable tools
• Foundational networking knowledge and how it works within Azure, API gateway
• On call rotation
• Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience

Compensation of the Azure Platform Engineer: $140,000 - $170,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
