Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Backend Developer (Java) for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 only, No C2C

Job Title: Backend Developer (Java)

Location(s): Plano, TX

Schedule: Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Role Type: W2 ONLY

Contract Length: 12 months

• Java Spring Boot API services
• AWS Infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, etc)

Role Summary:

Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services

Skill Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree ,At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

5+ years of experience in Java or a similar language

2+ years of experience with consuming and building RESTful API services

1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service

3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks (Desired: Spring or other IOC container framework)

2+ years of experience with CI/CD platforms such as Artifactory and Jenkins 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
