GRADY EMS Paramedic Team
Fulltime Shift 10am - 10pm 3 days a week
SUMMARY:
The Licensed Clinician is required to ride with a Grady EMS truck as a part of the Paramedic team responding to 911 Psychiatric calls. Provides the following services for individuals with Mental Illness and Addictive Disease: Crisis Intervention; Suicide Risk Assessment; and community linkage.
The primary objective of this position is to assess individuals in a psychiatric crisis and assure they have the resources needed and divert them to community care. Will work at the top of their licensure limit to determine risk, diagnosis and disposition of each patient they respond to. Responsible for assessing for and completing Form 1013.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Counseling or Behavioral Science is required.
- Must have full licensure in LPC or LCSW in the state of Georgia is required.
- Three or more years of related experience, preferably in Crisis assessment.
