We are seeking a dedicated and trauma-informed Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team, with a focus on serving adults from diverse backgrounds. In this role, you will provide evidence-based, culturally competent mental health services. Utilizing evidenced based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) among other trauma-informed approaches, you will help clients navigate their healing journey and build resilience.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Indiana required.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field required.
- 2 + years of experience required.
- Specialized training or certification in trauma-informed therapies, such as EMDR, CPT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
- Ethical and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, with a commitment to upholding client autonomy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain compliance with state regulations for licensed therapists.
- Experience working in community mental health settings, hospitals, or private practice.
- Knowledge of complementary approaches to trauma recovery, such as mindfulness-based therapies or somatic experiencing.
- Experience working with clients who have a history of substance misuse or using substance to numb emotions.
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops or support groups for trauma survivors.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to their unique needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Provide individual therapy sessions using modalities to help clients reduce distressing symptoms, process and resolve traumatic memories, and improve overall functioning.
- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that honors clients' identities, experiences, and cultural perspectives, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
- Integrate principles of DEI into therapy sessions, addressing systemic barriers and social determinants of mental health to promote equitable access to care and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and advocacy for clients, including referrals to additional resources and support services as needed.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices, participating in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain personal well-being, modeling healthy coping strategies for clients and colleagues.
