Summary:

Performs a wide variety of tasks to ensure accurate and timely implementation of complex benefits administration services for new and established clients, with a specialty of delivering employee Self Enroll and Employee Navigator. Configures employee self-service enrollment system while coordinating enrollment data with insurance carriers and vendors. Responsible to meet established standards, timeframes, implementation steps, and tracking protocols.

We offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule after sufficient training with the requirement of reporting to the Wallingford, CT office several days a week.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate assigned aspects of Self Enroll or Employee Navigator, including but not limited to requirements gathering, implementation, data and system updates, testing, client communication and demonstrations, reporting, and fee billing.
  • Intake complex information from multiple sources. Analyze the needs and required outcome unique to each client. Anticipate and communicate additional considerations at the onset, reducing need for rework.
  • Configure the benefits administration and billing systems based on these requirements, including but not limited to client, core benefit plans, voluntary benefit plans, FSA/HSA/HRA, eligibility classes, broker of record, commissions, billing structure, payroll data, COBRA and administrative rules to ensure accurate administration and reporting.
  • Compare employee enrollment data from various sources, build accurate import files, and execute the data import process.
  • Communicate with various parties throughout the process, including the client and their insurance broker, PPI sales representative, account manager and case installation team, as well as insurance carriers and vendors in a pleasant, professional manner and with an attitude that promotes company's goals and core objectives.
  • Maintain tracking of all installation processes including anticipated timeframes. Ensure all required steps of process are completed.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments based on need in addition to special projects as required.

Requirements:
  • Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers and operate in accordance with State and Federal law, the company's Statement of Business Practices, Affirmative Action, Diversity and other standards. Actively cooperate and interact with all entities of NFP.
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Ideally two years of benefit administration, HRIS, payroll, benefits, insurance, electronic data transmission, or similar industries.
  • Must be highly proficient with computers and web-based applications as well as Microsoft Office. High proficiency with Excel preferred.
  • Must be exceptionally organized and detailed-oriented.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have excellent time management skills, be able to manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under pressure and time constraints, particularly during peak times. Required to work overtime during peak periods. Must be flexible and accepting of changing priorities and evolving systems and services.
  • A confident, positive self-starter who works independently and achieves high performance standards coupled with a willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks.
