General Description

The Beverage Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting Restaurant Managers in overseeing the daily operations of beverage production. This individual will assist in supporting, coaching and directing the Beverage Production Team to ensure that each team member meets and exceeds standards and achieves daily goals.

The Beverage Production Team's main task is to produce many of the beverages served throughout our restaurants and bars. These Team Members are critical in maintaining quality and consistency. The team is also responsible for maintaining a steady stock of necessary products and ingredients. The Beverage Production Supervisor must be able to effectively delegate daily responsibilities, maximize productivity, and build strong relationships with team members, vendors and leaders. In addition, this individual must ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety and occupational safety guidelines.

In order to be successful, a Beverage Production Supervisor must possess the knowledge and ability to follow beverage recipes and prepare beverage items accurately. This person should be well-versed in traditional Mexican cocktails, distilled spirits and other beverages, and should posses the skills necessary to lead an effective team.

Work Duties
  • Oversee the beverage production process
  • Direct and support the beverage production team
  • Provide effective training to all new beverage production team members
  • Provide continuous coaching and learning to the beverage production team
  • Verify all recipes are being followed correctly and that beverage batches match the recorded amount
  • Ensure that beverage batches produced are appropriate for business volumes
  • Ensure transfers are recorded properly
  • Ensure all beverage production areas are maintained in a clean and organized fashion by creating, implementing and monitoring cleaning checklists
  • Create, communicate, and produce specialty cocktail recipes and infusions
  • Ensure necessary products are continuously stocked and maintain a monthly inventory
  • Order specialty products as needed
  • Ensure food safety regulations and procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with coaching and counseling beverage production team members as necessary
  • Recognize team members for high achievement
  • Consistently communicate all necessary information to the restaurant teams
  • Work closely with all other leaders and team members and display good teamwork
  • Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
  • All other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements

Work Experience & Education Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of food & beverage experience
  • Previous leadership experience preferred. Previous restaurant leadership experience a plus.
  • Previous experience with high volume restaurants a plus.
  • Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and beverages a plus
  • Must have or be able to obtain a State of Florida Food Safety Certificate
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Responsible Vendors Certificate
  • Must be well versed in food safety, including proper techniques for handling food and personal hygiene requirements
  • Must be well versed in laws and company practices regarding the safe and legal service of alcoholic beverages
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform all necessary job functions
  • Must be able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 consecutive hours
  • Must be able to function in narrow spaces, such as those found in kitchens and dining rooms
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment/food up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to push and pull (carts, doors etc.)
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to complete work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including coolers, freezers, kitchen environments and outdoors
  • Must be able to work around foods containing various food allergens
  • Must be able to communicate and interact politely and effectively with people of all types
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with, train, coach and lead other team members
  • Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to arrive for all assigned shifts on-time
  • Must be able to comply company appearance guidelines
