Billing Customer Service Representative

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Phone work (90% of the day is answering incoming calls, 10% is outbound calls to). 24 calls per day per person
  • Handling inbound emails as well (Patients - Questions about statements, Pharmacy Partners - Account balance transfers)
  • Patients making payments with credit cards or electronic checks
  • Have to review accounts to check balances
  • 4500-5000 calls monthly (5-7 people answering the phone on any given day)
  • Hardships: program to assist patients if they meet qualifications (have to meet income specifications)
  • Help patient with payment plans and refunds
  • Troubleshooting the E-Bill platform w/ patients


Requirements:
  • STRONG attention to detail
  • Customer Service Exp. (Preferably Call Center exp.)
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Exceptional attendance history


Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm OR 7:00am-3:30pm

Duration: 800 Hours (approx. 20 weeks) contract to hire.
