Description

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Bioinformatics Research Analyst for an NIH-funded lab focused on lung injury, infection, and inflammation. The role involves designing and analyzing experiments using human and animal tissue, with a focus on techniques such as bulk RNASeq, single-cell RNASeq, ATAC-Seq, and spatial transcriptomics/proteomics. The analyst will be an integral member of the research team, contributing to scientific publications and driving advancements in understanding how innate immune responses, like the complement system, influence the severity of mucosal surface injuries, including those in the lungs. The position also offers opportunities for professional growth, including participation in presentations and training others within the department.

Hourly range: $28.88-$46.46
