Position Summary :

As directed by and/or with the assistance of higher-level mechanics/supervisors, performs unskilled maintenance of equipment and the physical plant of the Hospital complex. The candidate must have at least one year of experience working outside in various temperature elements.

Knowledge: Fundamental/introductory knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance techniques, procedures, and materials.

Hours:

• Full Time, 40hrs per week
• Day Shift

Required:

• Valid Driver's License verifiable through the Motor Vehicle Administration.
• Greater than 1 year of general grounds maintenance experience including experience with power and manual equipment for lawn cutting and snow/ice removal.
• General knowledge of tools and equipment normally used in Grounds maintenance, including mowers, tractors, trucks, trimmers, rakes, shovels, steameers as well as non-powered hand tools.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
