SUMMARY

The Building Services Assistant is responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks for successful operation of the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintain inventory on all floors to ensure adequate supply stock for employees and visitors (office supplies, beverages, etc.).
  • Accept, sort and deliver mail / packages.
  • Assist with the setup of meeting rooms for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with the packaging of materials for shipment as needed.
  • Create labels for shipping using multiple platforms, including FedEx, UPS, USPS.
  • Perform light maintenance and repairs as needed, including installing whiteboards, picture hanging, changing lightbulbs, and other projects as requested; monitor facility (in the course of day-to-day tasks) and report any irregularities that need to be addressed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license required

  • Able to work independently and meet established deadlines
  • Able to prioritize tasks and adjust to shifting priorities
  • Able to interact professionally with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.
