Position Overview:

The Seattle Seawolves are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling season tickets, group tickets, package tickets, and individual game tickets, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our fans. You will be instrumental in driving revenue and increasing attendance at Seawolves home games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ticket Sales:
    • Proactively sell season tickets, group tickets, and individual game tickets to fans and businesses.
    • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and prospecting.
    • Develop and execute targeted sales campaigns to increase ticket sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with season ticket holders, group leads, and other customers.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive ticket-purchasing experience.
  • Game Day Operations:
    • Assist with game day ticketing operations, including will-call, setup of corporate partner signage, VIP club area, tents, and customer support.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game day experience for all attendees.
  • Sales Reporting:
    • Track and report on sales performance, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
    • Utilize CRM software to manage customer information and sales activities.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
    • Work with the marketing team to promote ticket sales through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and community events.
    • Participate in promotional events and community outreach to engage with fans and promote the Seattle Seawolves brand.
  • Community Events:
    • Attend and host community events promoting the Seawolves brand.
    • Reach out to community organizations to partner with.


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, sports marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during the rugby season.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn ticketing platform (AXS)
  • Passion for rugby and a strong understanding of the sport is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and a strong sense of accountability
  • Able to assist with physical duties when needed (ex: lifting 50+ lbs., bending, standing for long periods of time)
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality within a professional team environment
