Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Analyst contractor is expected to:

• Review and analyze data received from the statewide bail system (Public Safety Report System) using a Microsoft SQL database.
• Import and refine data into Microsoft PowerBI.
• Construct meaningful and visual dashboards in PowerBI that can be shared with the public with the Texas Judicial Branch website (https://txcourts.gov/).
• Work with other agency data analysts to provide guidance on the creation and maintenance of additional and future dashboards post-contract term.
• May be asked to participate in Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams periodically to collaborate on deliverables.
• Provide routine updates on work status and occasionally meet with a Research and Court Services representative to discuss progress.

Required Skills:

• 4 years of experience in Creating dashboards with Microsoft PowerBI.
• 2 years of experience in Analyzing data in a Microsoft SQL database.
• 2 years of experience in Ability to communicate professionally in writing and orally. Ability to translate complex information into common terms.

Preferred Skills:

• 2 years of experience in Working with public sector entities.
