The role you'll contribute:

The Business Intelligence Strategic Finance Manager leads project teams and accomplishes strategic initiatives which transform data into actionable insights that inform the organization's strategic decisions and drive business value. Owns relationships with customers, IT and leaders, and is responsible for achieving increased value, mitigated risks, improved processes and enhanced business outcomes for the delivery of relevant, accurate and timely information. Proactively audits, diagnoses, defines and resolves complex problems by utilizing trouble-shooting and problem-solving capabilities. Works on complex projects, collects data, establishes facts, recommends mitigations, draws valid conclusions through root cause analysis, relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and mentor's teams in using an extensive variety of data, utilizing analytical tools and interpreting results. Facilitates the deployment of strategic information by conveying results in written, verbal, diagram and presentation form. Identifies financial improvement opportunities including revenue, cost, efficiency and productivity. Manages analysts and encourages their ongoing development. Trains staff and develops their financial experience and skills to prepare them for future leadership roles. Works, interacts, and communicates independently with all levels of the organization, including internal staff, corporate partners, external vendors and executive leadership. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Technology, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR Eight years of equivalent progressive practical experience in healthcare
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Financial, Systems, Business Analyst or equivalent role
  • Minimum one-year supervisory experience
