Position Summary:
The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) will support all aspects of the Leasing Department including clerical tasks and taking new inquiries. The BOC will be responsible for the monthly billing and refund requests. The BOC will back up the Front Desk as needed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two years or more of accounting/book keeping experience and one year or more of sales experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office products e.g.: Excel, Word and Power Point.

Essential Functions:
  • Serves as the main back up for the Leasing Manager: takes inquiry phone calls and walk-ins, follows up by sending out information, scheduling a tour, etc.
  • Enters all leasing information into the software tracking program in a timely manner. Produces requested reports.
  • Conducts monthly resident billing, processes refunds and maintains spreadsheets.
  • Manages internal accounting functions such as petty cash, resident fund, Windsor Store and outside group payments. Maintains all spreadsheets related to these tasks.
  • Generates End of Month reports as assigned for the Accounting Department.
  • Conducts new resident move-in tasks and communicates move-in details to the other staff.
  • Manages the garage rentals and garage door openers.
  • Manages the distribution of resident and staff keys.
  • Backs up the Front Desk on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
  • Ensures that all leasing materials are current and available throughout the Windsor of Savoy.
