The Business Process Governance Lead supports, coordinates and facilitates structured process improvement activities aligned to our business goals. This candidate will foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing thought leadership to and influencing change at all levels in the organization. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining business process maps working with Change Management and other Program teams in Selling Partner Experience (SPX).

The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, is metrics and number savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability. This person will need an ability to see the big picture/whole system and execute on grass root level to improve the overall network. Additionally, they are never satisfied with the status quo, can show success in following-up and getting things done and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever-changing Service environment.

Key job responsibilities

1. Process Identification and Prioritization

- Identify, analyze, and document existing business processes across various departments and regions.

- Develop a prioritization mechanism to guide process documentation needs

-Develop Process taxonomy and documentation standards

2. Process Mapping System

- Identify the system that will be used to store detailed process maps developed by Business Process Managers

- Identify the system constructs - access, permissions, change management processes

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and enhance process documentation.

- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights from key stakeholders and subject matter experts.

- Build communication mechanisms that plug in the process maps in seller metric discussions

4. Standardization and Best Practices:

- Drive the standardization of processes across the organization, leveraging business process modeling notations (BPMN2.0) best practices.

- Apply principles of BPM to ensure the alignment of processes with organizational goals and objectives.

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes and regularly assess performance.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean Six-Sigma methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency gains.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 5+ years of team management experience

- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience

- 7+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
