Our services provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/engineering applications and products around application development, process optimization and automation to help drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future.

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for supporting large complex IT systems - these applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all Cloud and on prem systems. You will work with global functional and technical teams on engagements that leverage a high degree of automation, the latest technologies and cut across support and development work. You will need to bring your consulting and program management expertise to our clients managing work threads across these large engagements helping our clients to solve their problems, expand their market share and to help support mission critical operations in the commercial sector.

Work You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will bring strong and in-depth functional and program management solutions to clients with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality delivery of both agile and traditional projects that provide exceptional business value top users. Our projects are large and complex, can cross many geographies and can include many different technologies. You will have the technical foundation to work with a core group of technology professionals across borders.

The Team

Core Technology Operations practitioners work on the design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large-scale, ground-up, custom developed applications, to Cloud-based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector-focused packages. As a member of this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience development, integration services, business rules engine solutions, or Cloud-based services.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience;
  • Experience working with globally distributed technology teams which should include 6+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience managing and delivering large scale systems;
  • 6+ years of EPMO (Enterprise Program Management Office) experience, working with global clients;
  • 6+ years' experience planning and managing project initiatives and/or business process initiatives in a Program Management office or similar environment;
  • 6+ years' experience leading teams responsible for requirements definition, requirements management, and requirements validation, functional design, process design, testing, mapping, training, and defining support procedures;
  • 3+ years' experience leading teams responsible for the design and definition of technology solutions;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management principles, requirements management, and system design tools which should include working in an agile environment;
  • Experience with industry standard System Development Lifecycle methodologies and related tracking tools;
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties;
  • A bility to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve;
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred
  • Industry recognized technology certifications - AWS, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Jira, Rally, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent written and communication skills;
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations;
  • Master's degree

Wages and Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance.
