The Business Services Budget and Reporting Analyst is the administrative and reporting position for Business Services, which includes Parking & Transportation, Food Services, Bookstore, One Card, Trademark and Licensing, Sustainability, and Campus Support Services. This position includes budget analysis and report generation, along with assisting with other administrative systems to ensure the efficient flow of data as needed to assist other Auxiliary Services program operations such as Parking and Transportation, Food Services, and One Card systems.

This position is a member of the Business Services Finance team and will assist and/or coordinate processes and procedures such as parking collections for fees, meal plan reconciliation, escheats process, various revenue reconciliations, AiM work order cost review, concession reports, encumbrance auditing, contractual gift distribution, internal purchase approval process (MachForm), and will serve as backup to the Business Services Finance team on other processes needed to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

The position will assist in the preparation of quarterly, mid-year, and year-end transactional reports and reconciliations, monitor accounts receivables and payments of requisitions, and validate revenue billing and cost allocations to ensure timely entry in Banner. This position will ensure the overall integrity of financial reporting by monitoring and validating program integrations with finance systems; including but not limited to student accounts, payroll, and accounts payable. This position will interpret budgetary and financial policies and procedures to develop and monitor process improvement for the Business Services Finance team, along with the Director of Business Services Finance and Resource Management.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
  • Experience in higher education settings with experience in auxiliary functions and business operations
  • Experience with Banner, Chrome River, AiM, Ushop, and Transact or similar systems
