Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

This is a full-time position based on UCHealth's Quality Assurance Business Analytics team. You may be based in Metro Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins CO. This is a hybrid position...80% work-from-home and 20% on-site.

Experience and desired skills:
The ideal candidate should have strong creative and critical problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. A minimum requirement is familiarity with Excel, while experience with advanced features such as data validation, queries, data models, pivot tables, and charts is desired. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Power BI and its usage. The candidate should be an agent of change and a positive communicator. They should take the initiative, handle projects with minimal supervision, and be capable of reviewing and analyzing data to identify trends and potential issues.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to provide results in both verbal and written forms, demonstrating their ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Collaborates with Business Services leadership and other QA team members to identify opportunities for improvement

• Critical thinking and participation in the QA team processes

• Facilitates the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal QA processes

• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns and trends, draw conclusions, solve problems, and make decisions based on the best resolution

• Prioritizes multiple tasks and projects to ensure timely completion

• Serves as a resource to staff regarding departmental/area policies, procedures, and services verbal and written form

Job Duties:

Including but not limited to:

  • Creating new processes or enhancing existing ones to improve efficiency
  • Data reporting to identify patterns and trends in the outstanding AR
  • Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for leadership
  • Ensuring that individual department processes and procedures are correctly followed by auditing team members through quality reviews. These reviews are conducted upon request only
  • Reviewing current workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
  • Weekly and monthly reports to include KPIs, High Dollar Reports, ARMAP, WQ Analysis
  • Working with department leaders on special projects as needed
  • Work queue analysis to identify stagnancy


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of related experience


Preferred:

  • 2 years revenue cycle experience in healthcare
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills and data analysis experience
