Description of Duties:

The Quality Assurance Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Be part of a team that helps ensure the success of the nation's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and events/operations as part of the Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
• Execute Quality Assurance tasks in adherence with documented policies and procedures.

Responsibilities will include:
• Perform process and product audits including audit preparation
• Conducting compliance audits
• Creating audit reports
• Documenting findings
• Working with engineers and project team for resolution
• Conducting verifications
• Tracking findings to closure
• Provide data for input into monthly Quality Report
• Presenting audit reports to management
• Perform Engineering Review Board (ERB) audits for on-going projects for Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and other aspects of construction projects to evaluate methods, workmanship, quality, and conformance with code and project specifications.
• Perform audits for electronic and physical drawings, Power Panel Schedules (PPSs), single-line drawings, and database entries.
• Work independently on assignments and regularly communicate with the IRES Project team.
• We are a Beyond Zero safety-oriented company and this position will support the IRES Safety team to ensure that projects are being performed according to mandated standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Receive direction, guidance, monitoring, and control of this function from the lead and Quality program manager within the IRES contract.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 2 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 0 years of general experience.
• Must have 4 years of experience testing applications in accordance to required functionality and nonfunctional quality attributes.
• Must have experience in Quality Assurance or construction management.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail oriented and a creative thinker.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Have a working knowledge of Risk Management Systems, ISO 9001, AS 9100 with practical application experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze complex problems in large systems.
• Excellent mathematical skills working with data and providing analysis using statistical methods.
• Expert understanding of Quality processes, standards, and templates.

Desired Requirements:
• Have QA certifications
• Have an OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Have thorough knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials and equipment
• Have thorough knowledge of engineering plans, specifications and drawings
• Have an understanding of Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS), National Electrical Code (NEC), and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) codes
• Have experience with Root Cause Analysis, or Failure Mode Effect Analysis
• Have experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., BMC Remedy, MAXIMO) and engineering tools used to document physical systems (e.g., Planet, Bentley)
• SAFe agile experience (e.g. JIRA)

This position is expected to pay $69,500 - $94,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
