Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

Partner with division super users and subject matter experts to analyze and document current business processes and make recommendations for improvement

Organize and facilitate discovery sessions and workshops

Document and summarize results of discovery sessions and workshops

Document, monitor and track process improvement tasks throughout the project

Organize and facilitate periodic status meeting, i.e., weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings

Organize and conduct user training at specified times during the implementation, according to the Project Timeline Plan, draft and support communication efforts as needed

Serve as point person for the application after implementation, field questions and provide user support

Provide knowledge transfer of implemented processes and procedures to Harbor Department staff during and after implementation; and

Work with the implementation team to develop a strategy for data conversion across all applications, as well as data conversion specific to the application modules.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Client requires Business Systems Analysts with experience and knowledge of business processes relating to the following:

Billing to Collections.

Procure to Pay including credit and procurement cards (familiarity with government process, preferred);

Record to Report

Capital Projects to Fixed Assets

Sub ledger to General Ledger Reconciliation

Budgeting and Forecasting

Warehouse Management; and

Cost Accounting.

The Business Systems Analysts must have the following qualifications:

Two to five years of experience as an implementer or super user of Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS.

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Projects, Primavera or any comparable project management tool

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The ability to develop test scenarios and test scripts, create custom reports, and troubleshoot functional issues within Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, or other ERP systems

Sharp problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills; and

The ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technical audience.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
